Account Director
Reporting To: Executive Vice President
We are looking for an agency veteran, experienced in accounts services to work in close partnership with our clients on a day-to-day basis in the development and execution of fully integrated marketing solutions. Our new account director will have the innate ability to develop strong client relationships and will be considered a company leader. They will have a high level of professional knowledge and skill and manages a large account or a few smaller ones with little supervision from more senior staff members. As an emerging senior leader, our account director will serve as a counselor to both clients and staff members and must provide superior client service with confidence, independence and sound judgment.
Role & Responsibilities

  • Builds and maintains strong partnerships with client and extended teams to manage multiple projects from start to finish.
  • Experienced working with Government clients and leading project teams.
  • Engages in meaningful discussions with clients and partners to formulate action plans.
  • Champions the agency perspective convincingly with Clients. Is persuasive and articulate when communicating work and ideas.
  • Inquisitive about client requests and translates them into insightful recommendations and solutions.
  • Maintains strategic and creative integrity throughout execution.
  • Integrated consumer experience.
  • Contributes to strategic thinking and can effectively manage multiple projects.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and developing confident presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of the social media landscape, best practices, and analytics tools is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated account leadership, initiative and willingness to assume greater responsibility
  • Must have college degree
  • 7+ years of agency experience
  • Government client experience preferred
