An account in a business context typically refers to a record or statement of financial expenditure and receipts relating to a particular period or purpose. An Account professional, such as an accountant or account manager, is responsible for managing these records, ensuring accuracy, and providing financial insights or client service. Their work can involve bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, handling budgets, or maintaining client relationships depending on the specific role.
