We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Account Manager to join our Property & Casualty Insurance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an insurance professional looking to advance their career, take on greater responsibility, and grow into managing a larger book of business.
About the Role
The Assistant Account Manager will be responsible for managing a smaller commercial book of business-approximately $1.5M-$1.7M in premium-while providing day-to-day support to our experienced Account Managers.
This role is ideal for someone who currently handles some account responsibilities but is not yet managing a full book.
You will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service, assisting with policy servicing, and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all account-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Support Account Managers with daily service needs.
Manage a smaller commercial lines book of business.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding coverage, billing, and policy needs.
Rate BOPs and assist with quoting as needed.
File and process claims.
Communicate with insureds regarding outstanding invoices.
Identify and resolve billing issues.
Provide general administrative and service support to the account management team.
Qualifications
Required: Working knowledge of commercial insurance coverages.
(We are not considering candidates without insurance experience.)
Experience as an Assistant Account Manager, Technician, or Rater, or
an Account Manager with approximately 1-2 years of experience.
Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage competing priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Interest in growing into a full Account Manager role over time.
