THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Assistant Account Manager is responsible for assisting Account Managers and Senior Account Managers with the servicing of assigned accounts in accordance with the practices, policies, and procedures of the Company.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Prepare invoices, transmittals, ID cards, certificates of insurance, binders and cancellation forms as required
  • Review and process change requests in the system of record
  • Set-up and maintain new and renewal client files in the system of record
  • Participate in the renewal preparation process, including generating renewal updates on accounts specified by the Account Manager, Senior Account Manager or Producer
  • Provide quality customer service to clients, team members, and carriers
  • May review policies and endorsements for completeness and accuracy
  • Prepare policies for delivery to clients
  • Communicate with company personnel regarding the client's needs and/or issues
  • Use system's "activity" function to schedule follow-ups from carriers for endorsements, and track client and underwriter requests
  • Field phone calls from insureds regarding questions about their coverage, changes, additions, payments, cancellations etc.
  • Responsible for scanning communications and documents
  • Input/maintain data on account management system and ancillary systems as required
  • Prepare and coordinate all transactions, documents, and internal processing for assigned accounts
  • Other reasonable duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • One or more years of professional office experience preferred
  • High School or equivalent
  • P & C Insurance Producer License Required within 90 Days of Start

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES:
  • Applicable insurance experience preferred
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication skills
  • Proven ability of working in a successful team environment
  • Strong data entry skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet utilization
  • Applied EPIC Agency Management System experience preferred but not required

The expected salary range for this position is $25- $29/hr depending on geographical location and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level.
