Job description

Marcus & Millichap, Inc, the nation's one of the largest commercial real estate investment brokerage companies (about 80 offices in North America), is looking to hire a highly motivated Oracle Fusion ERP and EPM Functional Lead specializing in Record-to-Report (R2R).
The successful candidate will support the enterprise finance systems landscape across Oracle Fusion Financials and Oracle EPM Cloud. This role will serve as the functional lead for General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Intercompany, Financial Close, Account Reconciliations, Consolidation, Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Reporting processes. The ideal candidate will partner closely with Accounting, Controllership, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, IT, and implementation partners to drive process standardization, automation, governance, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.
The base salary range for this role is $150,000 - $175,000 per year. This position is eligible for a discretionary performance-based bonus. The exact bonus is not guaranteed and will vary based on individual performance, team results, and company performance. Actual pay will be determined by factors such as education, experience, and job-related skills relevant to the role. Key Responsibilities

Oracle Fusion Financials & R2R Ownership

  • Serve as the functional lead for end-to-end Oracle Fusion Record-to-Report processes.
  • Own design, configuration, testing, deployment, enhancement, and production support for Oracle Cloud Financials and related EPM applications.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable Oracle Cloud solutions while ensuring alignment with finance operating model, controls, and reporting needs.
  • Partner with Accounting, Finance, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, IT, and external implementation partners to resolve issues and deliver enhancements.

General Ledger, Close & Intercompany

  • Support Oracle Fusion General Ledger, Chart of Accounts, ledgers, legal entities, accounting calendars, journal processing, journal approvals, recurring journals, allocations, and reversals.
  • Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close support, including close calendar coordination, exception management, and process optimization.
  • Support intercompany accounting, balancing, eliminations, reconciliations, and related reporting requirements.
  • Drive automation opportunities to improve close cycle efficiency, accuracy, and control compliance.

Oracle ARCS, FCCS & Planning

  • Lead and support Oracle Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS), including reconciliation profiles, preparer and reviewer assignments, certification questions, auto-reconciliation rules, dashboards, notifications, and reconciliation controls.
  • Lead and support Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS), including consolidation, translation, eliminations, close management, data loads, validations, and management reporting.
  • Lead and support Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service / Enterprise Planning, including planning models, forecasting processes, dimensionality, Smart View templates, budgeting workflows, and FP&A reporting needs.
  • Ensure appropriate integration and data alignment between Oracle Fusion ERP, ARCS, FCCS, Planning, and reporting tools.

Fixed Assets & Financial Reporting

  • Support Oracle Fixed Assets processes including capitalization, depreciation, retirements, transfers, Construction-in-Progress, tax book requirements, and asset accounting.
  • Develop, validate, and support financial reporting using OTBI, Smart View, Oracle Financial Reporting, dashboards, and ad hoc reporting tools.
  • Support finance users with reporting requirements, data validation, and issue resolution across ERP and EPM sources.

Projects, Controls & Continuous Improvement

  • Lead system enhancement initiatives from requirements through testing, deployment, change management, and post-go-live support.
  • Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, release testing, defect triage, root cause analysis, and production stabilization.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX controls, internal audit requirements, security standards, and accounting policies.
  • Create and maintain functional documentation, configuration guides, test scripts, user procedures, and training materials.
  • Mentor analysts, business users, and support resources on Oracle ERP and EPM best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of ERP implementation, enhancement, and production support experience, with strong finance process knowledge.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials experience.
  • Minimum of two full lifecycle Oracle Cloud ERP implementations or major transformation programs.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Fusion General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Intercompany, Financial Reporting, Financial Close, and Record-to-Report processes.
  • Mandatory hands-on experience implementing and supporting Oracle Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS).
  • Mandatory hands-on experience implementing and supporting Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS).
  • Mandatory hands-on experience implementing and supporting Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service, EPBCS, or Oracle Planning.
  • Strong understanding of financial statement preparation, consolidation, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and month-end close processes.
  • Experience integrating Oracle ERP Financials with Oracle EPM applications and upstream/downstream enterprise systems.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, audit support, and SOX-compliant environments.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA, CMA, MBA, or equivalent finance/accounting qualification.
  • Experience with Oracle Enterprise Data Management (EDM), Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Narrative Reporting, Tax Reporting Cloud, OTBI, and Smart View.
  • Experience supporting publicly traded companies or organizations with complex legal entity, ledger, consolidation, and reporting structures.
  • Experience working with implementation partners such as PwC, Deloitte, Accenture, KPMG, or Oracle Consulting.
  • Experience leading onshore/offshore support teams and managing vendor delivery.
