Assistant Account Manager
Looking for dynamic and collaborative Assistant Account Manager to join our Business Management team
Summary:
Provides day-to-day assistance to Account Managers who perform full-charge bookkeeping functions for clients.
Core Responsibilities:
Assists Account Managers with the daily, weekly, monthly and yearly bookkeeping activities of the assigned "basic" client
Identify and help solve engagement (job) technical issues, anomalies, non-routine items
Conducts self in a professional manner related to all client communications and interactions

Essential Functions:
Supports Senior Account Managers with client tasks
Helps with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Enters in Payroll entries for clients ensuring smooth and correct payroll runs
Report Management - prepares and maintains various reports for Account Managers and their clients
Communicates (both in verbal and written form) with clients, client suppliers, vendors, and banking contacts
Assists with client mail
Assists Account Managers as needed with other various functions: journal entries, tax returns, 1099s and W-2s for their clients
Nonessential Functions:
Performs other duties as assigned from time to time by accountants or partners.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Datafaction is strongly preferred and QuickBooks Online (optional but a plus)
Ability to operate calculator, computer, and other general office equipment.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements of processing payroll accounting transactions, Payroll returns, Business tax license, Secretary of State filing and State Board of Equalization, preferred
Minimum Qualifications:
0-2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger and financial report
Prior experience in Business Management preferred
