POSITION DESCRIPTION: ASSISTANT ACCOUNT RECIEVABLE CLERK

LOCATION: Corporate- TIFTON GA

Job Summary:

Provides high-level administrative support to the Accounts Receivable Manger, finance department and the Company ensuring timely and accurate flow of work items. Acts as liaison between the Account Receivable Manager, branches and Corporate.

MAIN JOB TASK AND RESPONSIBLITIES

· Assist with the assurance of policies and procedures are being followed in accordance with company guidelines.

· Help maintain an overall collection management process for the organization,

which includes an analysis of the financial impact on the company when risk occurs.

· Double-check business is compliant with state specific unemployment compensation regulations and Garyjames Inc. and Affiliates policies, procedures, and guidelines.

· Acts as the liaison and contact for internal staff regarding collection issues and or

items pertaining to credit terms, applications, and credit protocols and relay to A/R Manger.

· Assist with unemployment claims diligently and implement a plan for timely resolution of claims.

· Assist A/R manager to ensure Notice to Owners/Contractors are completed by Branch locations in compliance with company policy.

· Maintain accounts receivable aging on an ongoing basis to assess collectability of receivables and to head off potential problem accounts when the A/R manager is unavailable.

· Maintain records of unemployment claims.

· Demonstrate knowledge of accounts receivables management related laws and legal terminology.

· Help to ensure any new customer paperwork is uploaded into Staffcom focusing on eliminating potential risk and liabilities to the company.

· Increase knowledge of staff by providing support and training within the company.

· Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software.
