Job Summary
The Account Manager is responsible for new revenue streams, expanding existing accounts, and providing exceptional service to all active and prospective customers. The Enterprise Accounts Account Managers hold responsibility for key named accounts with Enterprise Accounts or key client decision makers, in addition to all the traditional responsibilities for an Account Manager. The Account Manager for Enterprise Accounts will develop an account strategy and quarterly plan for their target clients, outlining and communicating specific activities, as well as forecasting new business opportunities.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Works directly with recruiting and customer support to ensure that the clients' hiring needs and the contract employees' payroll expectations are met. Build effective relationships at executive levels of the client organization to leverage the sales strategy and expand the relationship
  • Build effective relationships with colleagues to pair all local business needs with strategic needs and vision of the client, and to capitalize on the potential of the sales program
  • Achieve sales growth (gross margin growth) by identifying new revenue streams and expanding current account relationships
  • Establish (and adjust when necessary) a list of target accounts and prospects using all available internal and external resources
  • Conduct well-prepared face to face meetings with decision makers; get results by asking appropriate questions that qualify business and take advantage of opportunities to create value and meet client needs
  • Maximize profitability by effectively negotiating bill rates and terms; ensure that direct labor rates are in line with market standards
  • Perform sales related activities including, but not limited to leading meetings at client sites and client manager, and contractor lunches
  • Communicate account knowledge to team members (recruiters, CSA, sales, Director) through meetings
  • Manage and develop business partnership with recruiter(s) by reinforcing recruiting fundamentals, requiring accountability and providing consistent feedback
  • Work with Colleagues to forecast enterprise account business by building a plan with key clients that includes understanding the trends, competitive landscape, and client business needs.
  • Develops, drives, and owns enterprise account strategy.
  • Report on effectiveness and outcomes of the account plan by performing root cause analysis when there is a gap between performance and potential and/or goal, evolving the account strategy as necessary and communicating the account status

Minimum Education/Abilities/Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience preferred
  • Has the ability and willingness to learn from experience and apply it by implementing new skills, behaviors, and insights to perform successfully under changing conditions.
  • Delivers exceptional results sustained over a long period of time in a way that is consistent with organizational values.
  • Prefer to have proven successful and experienced in initiating, cultivation and managing large accounts (Fortune 500+)
  • Demonstrate competence with the Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Strong ability to follow sales systems, documentation, and organization skills
  • Proven ability to effectively align customer goals with company solution offerings

Special Requirements
  • Required to travel to Actalent Offices and Client sites (every 6-8 weeks)
  • Must be willing to work PST hours
Compensation
Per Pay Transparency Acts: The range for this position is $85k - $115K based on contest wins
This role is commission eligible.
