Job description

This is a temporary position. 

Marriott International is seeking a FLEX Manager, Vendor Management, to join our Procurement Operations team. Procurement Operations is responsible for leading core functions such as governance, vendor support, technology, reporting, and management of revenues and receivables.   

The FLEX Manager provides vendor management support for critical vendor programs, resolves escalations and complex issues, supports SLA tracking and performance monitoring, leads data reporting, and leads financial support functions such as invoice management, and compliance. 

Required Experiences  

  • 2+ years of experience working in hospitality or in a procurement function of an organization 
  • Experience leading financial support functions, such as invoice management, managing purchasing orders, and compliance  
  • Experience compiling and reporting on vendor data to senior stakeholders  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Support ongoing projects and requests related to the technology hardware and software purchasing vendor to ensure customers' needs are met by the program. 
  • Support the Senior Manager in continuously improving supplier relationships through ongoing strategic engagements 
  • Support the Senior Manager in the creation of a long-term governance model that supports the organization's needs and objectives 
  • Create and oversee a process to effectively support SLA tracking 
  • Maintain organized records and trackers to capture trends in vendor inquiries, follow-ups, and resolutions
