Job description

ABOUT VICTORY LIVE
Victory Live is a private equity backed technology company aimed at maximizing distribution and yield for live event ticket inventory. We provide an end-to-end software platform for the live ticketing industry, managing thousands of sports, theater, and live music event tickets on behalf of artists, promoters, teams, venues, and professional resellers. Victory Live’s comprehensive offerings include an established B2B marketplace along with both a full-service and an automated SaaS platform to handle all elements of the ticket sales lifecycle, from ingestion to sales fulfillment.

THE POSITION
The Product Operations Associate will work alongside our product leads, engineering managers, and business stakeholders to keep our product organization running smoothly. You’ll own the connective tissue between teams — driving planning rhythms, surfacing the right information at the right time, and turning ambiguity into structured next steps. This is a high-visibility role for someone who wants to learn the craft of product management by sitting at the center of how products actually get built and shipped.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with product leads to coordinate roadmap planning, sprint cadence, and cross-team dependencies, keeping inputs organized and threads moving forward
  • Draft planning documents, status updates, and meeting notes for senior stakeholders, translating discussion into clear written artifacts
  • Maintain product operations hygiene in Jira — boards, workflows, reporting — and help apply prioritization frameworks like RICE or weighted scoring
  • Build and maintain lightweight dashboards and spreadsheets that give product leaders visibility into delivery, velocity, and key product metrics
  • Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, retros, backlog grooming) and help product leads prepare and follow through on action items
  • Use Claude and other AI tools to accelerate routine work — summarizing meetings, drafting docs, analyzing data, and building lightweight internal automations
  • Identify gaps in process and proactively define your own role and workflows rather than waiting for direction

REQUIREMENTS

  • 1+ years experience in product, operations, business analysis, or a related function; recent grads with strong internships are encouraged to apply
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience; backgrounds in business, analytics, information systems, or technical fields are a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication — will be drafting planning docs, status updates, and meeting notes for senior stakeholders
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail; comfortable juggling inputs from five different product leads without dropping threads
  • Analytical mindset — comfortable working in spreadsheets, building basic dashboards, and learning prioritization frameworks (RICE, weighted scoring)
  • Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity; willing to define their own role and processes rather than wait for direction
  • Comfortable navigating senior stakeholders without formal authority

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience or familiarity with Jira (boards, workflows, JQL basics, reporting)
  • Experience using Claude or other AI tools to accelerate work — drafting docs, summarizing meetings, analyzing data, building lightweight automations
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, retros, backlog grooming)
  • Familiarity with ticketing, marketplace, or e-commerce businesses

We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ethnicity, ancestry, religion, creed, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship status, marital status, disability, gender identity, gender expression, Veteran status, or another other characteristic protected by state, local or federal law.
