Job description

Data Operations Associate

Got an eye for detail and a knack for keeping things organized? We want you.

Home Surplus is growing, and we need a sharp, reliable Data Operations Associate to help keep our operations running like a well-oiled machine. If you love clean spreadsheets, accurate records, and getting things done right the first time โ€” this one's for you.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Handling paperwork for purchasing, receiving, and sales
  • Managing ERP processing of orders
  • Supporting day-to-day office administration
  • Updating pricing on orders as needed
  • Developing relationships with vendors to understand their timelines
  • Accurately processing orders the first time around

What You Bring

  • Sharp attention to detail โ€” typos and errors don't slip past you
  • Comfortable working with business software and ERP systems
  • Solid organizational chops and time-management skills
  • Self-starter energy, but also a great teammate
  • Admin or clerical experience preferred

Bonus Points If...

  • You've got NetSuite experience โ€” a big plus, but not a requirement, we'll get you up to speed
  • You've got kitchen-industry experience (cabinets, appliances, countertops, etc.). Not required either โ€” but if you already speak the lingo, even better

Compensation & Perks

  • Competitive salary
  • Full benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, EAP, Disability, Life Insurance
  • PTO and 401(k)
  • Real advancement opportunities as we keep growing fast
