Job Summary:
The Associate Product Manager (APM) is responsible for the effective technical communication, resolution, and continuous improvements with Delaney Hardware customers and products. The APM team member will also support in technical and instruction writings for internal and external publications. This can include product installation manuals, operating manuals, and troubleshooting guides. The ideal candidate will have the ability to quickly grasp simplistic to complex products within the company's product portfolio. This position reports directly to the Director of Product Management.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
Product Development Support:
โ€ข Assist in translating product requirements into detailed specifications and user stories.
โ€ข Collaborate with supply chain and marketing teams to ensure timely delivery of product features.
โ€ข Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and stand-ups to track progress and address roadblocks.
Market and User Research:
โ€ข Conduct user research and gather feedback to identify new products, product improvements and new opportunities.
โ€ข Assist in competitor analysis and market research to keep the product aligned with industry trends.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
โ€ข Work closely with cross-functional teams including customer service, supply chain, sales, and marketing to ensure product alignment with business goals.
โ€ข Coordinate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements.
Product Roadmap Execution:
โ€ข Help maintain and prioritize the product backlog in alignment with the product roadmap and business objectives.
โ€ข Assist in defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success.
Technical Documentation:
โ€ข Create and maintain technical documentation, including product specifications, manuals and user guides.
โ€ข Ensure clear communication of technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Product Launch Support:
โ€ข Support product launches by coordinating with marketing, sales, and customer support teams.
โ€ข Assist in creating product training materials and conducting internal product demos.
โ€ข Customer Support and Issue Resolution:

Minimum Requirements:

โ€ข Intermediate level of skill in Microsoft Office, specifically in Excel, Word, and Outlook
โ€ข Utilization of CRM system and experience with NetSuite is preferred
