The Impact You Will Have in This Role
The Associate Product Manager (APM) role is a hands-on, execution-oriented product position designed for early-career product professionals who are ready to take ownership of defined problem spaces and work closely with senior product leaders, engineers, and cross-functional partners.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
Product Execution & Delivery
  • Own and drive defined product or initiative components within TRI programs (e.g., AI tools, internal platforms, research pilots, or enablement capabilities).
  • Translate high-level objectives into clear problem statements, requirements, and success metrics.
  • Create and maintain core product artifacts such as:
    • Product proposals and value propositions
    • Backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria
    • Roadmap views and milestone tracking
  • Partner closely with engineering and research teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work with internal stakeholders across Technology, Product, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Business teams to gather requirements and align on priorities.
  • Support senior product managers in facilitating working sessions, reviews, and demos.
  • Clearly communicate progress, risks, and tradeoffs to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Discovery, Research & Analysis
  • Support technology evaluation and feasibility efforts, including vendor research, internal experiments, and proofs of concept.
  • Conduct structured analysis to assess:
  • Business value and potential impact
  • Feasibility and delivery considerations
  • Risks, dependencies, and governance implications
  • Synthesize findings into concise, decision-ready materials for leadership review.

Governance & Enterprise Readiness
  • Ensure product work aligns with DTCC enterprise standards, including architecture, security, and risk considerations.
  • Help transition successful pilots or MVPs toward broader adoption or production handoff, as appropriate.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent practical experience

Talent Needed for Success
  • Demonstrated ability to:
    • Break down ambiguous problems into structured plans
    • Write clear requirements and product documentation
    • Work effectively with engineers and technical teams
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred
  • Prior experience in financial services, enterprise technology, or regulated environments.
  • Exposure to emerging technologies such as AI/ML, data platforms, developer tools, or digital assets.
  • Familiarity with Agile / Scrum product delivery practices.
  • Comfort working in fast-moving, exploratory environments where problem definition evolves over time.

About the Team
Serves as a dedicated technology resource for advancing DTCC's business opportunities and providing industry thought leadership for leveraging new technology.
