Job description

Temporary Office Administrator

Pay Rate: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Duration: Temporary Assignment (3 Weeks)

Start Date: September 28th

End Date: October 16th

Schedule:

  • Week 1: Part-Time, Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

  • Weeks 2 & 3: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

Position Overview

We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Temporary Office Administrator to provide office support during a scheduled employee vacation. The first week will consist of training and shadowing the current Office Administrator to ensure a smooth transition before independently managing daily administrative operations during weeks two and three.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent customer service abilities, and experience working in a professional office environment. Previous exposure to the construction industry and familiarity with construction terminology is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally

  • Manage and respond to emails using Microsoft Outlook

  • Provide excellent customer service and answer customer inquiries

  • Take and process customer payments

  • Create, edit, and manage PDF documents and forms

  • Print, scan, copy, and distribute documents as needed

  • Share and maintain company data and records accurately

  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and departments

  • Assist with administrative projects and daily office operations

  • Maintain organized filing systems, both digital and physical

  • Prioritize tasks and ensure timely completion of assignments

  • Support office workflow while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
