Job description

Zoox is seeking a Manager, Service Operations Systems to lead the strategy, optimization, and scaling of the enterprise systems supporting our Fleet Service Operations organization. This role will own the technology landscape across Asset Management, Maintenance, Field Service, Workforce Management, and Service Operations, ensuring our systems and processes are scalable, integrated, and capable of supporting rapid fleet growth. The ideal candidate combines deep service operations and enterprise systems expertise with strong hands-on leadership and execution, partnering closely with Operations and IT leadership to translate business needs into scalable solutions and deliver measurable improvements in fleet uptime, service efficiency, and operational performance.
In this role, you will:
  • Own and drive the roadmap for the Operations enterprise systems portfolio, including SAP EAM/PM, SAP FSM, Beeline, UKG, LMS, NICE WFM, and related platforms and integrations.
  • Design and implement scalable, end-to-end business processes across Asset Management, Maintenance, Field Service, Workforce Management, and Operations.
  • Lead the evolution of SAP EAM/PM capabilities, including asset lifecycle management, preventive maintenance, work orders, maintenance planning, and operational execution.
  • Drive the optimization and adoption of SAP FSM to support field operations, technician workflows, scheduling, and service execution.
  • Partner closely with Operations, Fleet, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, HR, Finance, Engineering, and IT teams to align enterprise systems with operational strategy and business outcomes.
  • Establish integrated processes across assets, maintenance, workforce, scheduling, field execution, and operational reporting.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve operational efficiency, system adoption, standardization, and scalability in support of Zoox’s rapid growth.
  • Anticipate and mitigate scalability challenges by architecting solutions that reduce manual processes, system workarounds, future rework, and technical debt.
  • Drive stakeholder alignment, organizational readiness, and change management for new operational systems, processes, and capabilities.
  • Provide hands-on leadership across program execution, prioritization, risk management, vendor management, budgeting, and executive reporting.
Qualifications
  • 15+ years of experience in fleet operations technology, enterprise applications, asset management, field service, workforce management, or enterprise transformation, with experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, end-to-end business processes across Operations, Maintenance, Field Service, Asset Management, and Workforce Management.
  • Expert-level experience with SAP EAM/PM and strong understanding of asset lifecycle, maintenance, work order, and field service processes.
  • Experience with SAP FSM and enterprise workforce platforms such as UKG, NICE WFM, Beeline, or equivalent solutions..
  • Strategic mindset with hands-on execution ability, capable of balancing long-term enterprise architecture and roadmap planning with immediate operational needs in a high-growth environment.
Bonus Qualifications
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA, including EAM/PM, MM, and related supply chain capabilities.
  • Experience integrating SAP with Field Service, Workforce Management, HR, Learning, and third-party operational platforms.
  • Background in change management or organizational design, with a track record of driving adoption for new systems and operational processes.
  • Strong data orientation, including experience with operational KPIs, dashboards, system health metrics, and performance reporting.
Base Salary Range
 
There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. The listed range applies only to the base salary. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The salary range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.
