Retail Operations amp; Performance Manager
Full-Time | Monday - Friday
Are you passionate about retail operations, merchandising, and developing high-performing teams ready to make an impact?
As the Retail Operations amp; Performance Manager, you’ll lead operational performance, merchandising execution, and leadership development across all Daily Deals locations. This role blends hands-on retail operations with strategic business partnership, giving you the opportunity to influence sales growth, customer experience, store standards, and team performance. You’ll work closely with Store Managers and Merchandising Specialist to drive operational excellence, strengthen merchandising consistency, and build strong retail leaders across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations and overall performance across multiple Daily Deals locations.
  • Partner with Store Managers to drive sales growth, improve margins, and execute business action plans.
  • Analyze operational and financial performance, including payroll, sales trends, and expense management.
  • Establish and maintain merchandising standards, including product placement, pricing, signage, and promotional execution.
  • Conduct regular store visits to evaluate operational performance and merchandising effectiveness.
  • Lead merchandising initiatives focused on driving foot traffic, sales, and customer engagement.
  • Hire, coach, mentor, and develop Store Managers and emerging retail leaders.
  • Reinforce accountability, performance expectations, and continuous improvement across all locations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, marketing, and corporate teams to support company initiatives and store execution.
  • Build strong store-level relationships that support customer retention and community engagement.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and 5–7 years of progressive retail management experience.
  • Multi-unit retail management experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations, merchandising strategy, pricing, promotions, and store presentation.
  • Proven ability to analyze financial and operational reports to drive business decisions and results.
  • Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and mentorship experience with a focus on developing teams.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and retail management systems preferred.
  • Grocery or food retail experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel between store locations as needed.
