Ready to make an impact behind the scenes—where precision meets purpose? We’re looking for a motivated, people-first Payroll Associate to join our Community Support Office (CSO) payroll/benefits team and help power an exceptional team member experience. In this role, you won’t just process payroll; you’ll play a key part in bringing the Touchstone Experience to life through accuracy, accountability, and outstanding service.
You’ll support payroll operations for 2,500+ team members across Texas, working with robust HRIS and payroll platforms in a collaborative environment. If you thrive on detail, enjoy working cross-functionally, and take pride in getting things right every time, this is a role where your expertise will truly shine.
What You’ll Do:
As a key contributor to our HR Payroll Team, you are responsible for end-to-end payroll processing and recordkeeping. You’ll work closely with community HR Business Partners, managers, and other departments to ensure compliance, accuracy, and timeliness across all payroll functions.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Process bi-weekly payroll and off-cycle payments with precision and timeliness
  • Respond to employee and HR inquiries regarding payroll, timekeeping, and compensation policies
  • Maintain and update payroll data within Paycor and other internal systems
  • Administer and track garnishments, verifying accurate deductions
  • Conduct payroll audits and reconcile discrepancies
  • Assist with 401(k) match reporting, PTO balances, and payroll analytics
  • Prepare documentation for internal audits, subpoenas, and external reporting requests
  • Support quarterly and annual filings such as 941s and PBJ reports
  • Train new HR team members on payroll and timekeeping basics
  • Reconcile payroll data with the General Ledger
  • Uphold strict confidentiality of all payroll and employee information
What You Bring:
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on full cycle corporate payroll processing experience (in-house preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Clear, professional communication—written and verbal
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • Experience with Paycor is a plus or other large HRIS systems are required.
