We are hiring a Payroll Processing Associate for a 12-month onsite contract opportunity in Columbus, OH. This role is ideal for candidates with payroll, administrative, or data entry experience who thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Position Details:
Job Title: Payroll Processing Associate
Location: Columbus, OH 43235
Duration: 12 Months
Pay Rate: $18.80/hour on W2
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Work Arrangement: Onsite (5 days/week)
Key Responsibilities:
Process manual payroll checks using internal payroll systems.
Print, seal, and prepare payroll checks for distribution.
Maintain payroll data with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
Communicate with internal teams to resolve payroll-related issues.
Support payroll operations and administrative activities.
Work occasional weekends, holidays, and overtime based on business needs.
Required Qualifications:
0–2 years of payroll, administrative, or data entry experience.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Proficiency in data entry and 10-key calculator usage.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
Training on internal payroll systems will be provided.
