Familiarity with payroll software such as ADP, QuickBooks, or Paychex, as well as knowledge of tax compliance systems, is typically required. Strong organizational skills, confidentiality, and effective communication set top performers apart in this role. These skills ensure accurate, timely payroll processing and compliance with legal and financial standards, minimizing costly errors.
