Job description

SUMMARY
The PBX Operator is responsible for:
  • Answer phones a pleasant and courteous manner.
  • Ensure that all prompt responses are completed.
  • Performs as concierge in most cases.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The PBX's primary responsibilities will include:
  • Answers inbound phone calls and directs to appropriate area.
  • Serves as an information agent for the guests.
  • Cheerfully attempts to resolve any guest issues through the use of a prompt response log.
  • Performs as a reservation agent or front desk clerk as needed.
  • Maintains organization of work area.
  • Maintains organization of faxes, mail and log books.
  • Handles all Owner/Exchange Guest Inventory Checklists ensuring that each is completed in a timely manner and submitted for completion.
  • Uses proper key control as outlined by the standard operating procedures.
  • Completes daily call around.
  • Completes daily welcome calls to all new arrivals.
  • Witnesses shift deposits as necessary.
