NOW HIRING: Mid-Level Embedded Software Engineer (AFC Devices)

Vienna, VA (On-Site) | Full-Time

STraffic America is seeking a Mid-Level Embedded Software Engineer to develop and support software for Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) devices used by major transit agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy software
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software and device issues
  • Support AFC device installations remotely and on-site
  • Analyze system logs and data for diagnostics
  • Perform testing and validation to ensure reliability
  • Create and update technical documentation

Qualifications

  • 4–5 years of software development experience
  • Experience with C, C#, and Python
