Position Overview
The Manager, Revenue Operations serves as the operational leader responsible for end-to-end billing operations and revenue integrity across the organization. This role ensures accurate, timely revenue recognition and billing processes while maintaining rigorous controls and compliance standards. The position requires a strategic operator who can balance operational excellence with process innovation, driving both billing accuracy and operational efficiency. This role partners closely with Accounts Receivable, Accounting, Client Delivery, and IT teams to ensure seamless revenue operations and provide critical insights that support business decision-making and financial planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and execute the complete monthly billing cycle, including invoice generation, approval workflows, and customer delivery.
  • Manage and oversee a fully remote team of approximately 15 team members, with 2 supervisors reporting directly, establishing clear expectations, driving accountability, and supporting ongoing team member development.
  • Ensure 100% on-time completion of billing cycles aligned to month-end close timelines.
  • Manage billing operations for multiple revenue streams.
  • Partner with Client Delivery to resolve billing disputes, invoice corrections, and customer escalations.
  • Maintain operational excellence through standardized processes, comprehensive documentation, and continuous monitoring.
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, revenue variances, and system integration issues.
  • Monitor unbilled accounts receivable and deferred revenue balances to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Execute monthly close activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Maintain detailed audit trails and supporting documentation for all revenue transactions.
  • Develop and maintain revenue recognition policies aligned with ASC 606 and the company's business model.
  • Own billing system configuration and data integrity rules.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve revenue operations, including system implementations, process automation, and workflow optimization.
  • Collaborate with FP&A, Accounting, and Client Delivery teams to ensure seamless revenue operations
  • Provide training and guidance to stakeholders on billing policies, system capabilities, and operational procedures

Minimum Qualifications
  • 3-7 years of Leadership Experience in revenue operations, billing operations, or financial operations roles.
  • Strong understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition principles and practical application.
  • Proficiency with billing systems, ERP platforms, and CRM tools.
  • Advanced Excel skills including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines.

Education
  • BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent.

Position Type and Expected Hours
  • This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, normal core business hours. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Currently, the company offers a hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.

Supervisory Responsibility
  • 3-7 years of Leadership Experience

Compensation
  • Good faith annual salary range for this position is $110,000 to $130,000 USD and is commensurate with experience and location. This position is eligible for a 10% discretionary bonus.

This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
