Job description

About The Role
This position is responsible for providing technical and product support to Treasury Management customers. Ensures contracted services are set up properly and customers are informed of product operating procedures. Markets and implements products to customers and prospective customers. Provides ongoing sales support and acts as liaison between customers and service departments of the bank to support sales implementation and service issues; interacts with various departments on an ongoing basis. The job functions are:
Job Duties:
  • Responsible for completion of implementation forms, customer agreements, etc.
  • Verify contracted services are implemented within expected timeframes and accurately to ensure service fee revenue.
  • Monitor customer's accounts to ensure customers receive services as requested and accounts complies with treasury management implementation procedures and bank policies.
  • Provides demonstrations and/or training for customers as needed on treasury product usage, as well as assists with implementation of hardware/software.
  • Assists clients and prospects with new service requests and identifies cross-sell opportunities; keeps abreast of product updates and documentation; adheres to bank policies and procedures.
  • Assists in research and development of special projects; performs support functions directly related to departmental functions; frequently interacts with Officers and other departments on a routine basis.
  • Coordinate service support for resolution of customer problems/complaints with depository/treasury management services; communicates resolutions to customers; acts as liaison between customer and operations departments of the bank.
  • Maintain strong working knowledge of bank products/procedures, regulatory requirements, and industry issues through continuing internal and external training.
  • Assist with administrative duties as needed, (i.e. order office supplies, coordinate events for employees and customers, schedule appointments for sales officers).
  • Assist with special projects as requested by manager.
  • Comply with compliance and privacy policies and procedures to maintain customer confidentiality and information protection.
  • Comply with all federal, state and local regulatory rules and regulations governing financial institutions, as well as all company policies and procedures.
  • Complete and pass all required regulatory compliance training as assigned.
  • Perform any additional duties and tasks assigned by management.

About You
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Knowledge of business account titling and documentation is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of current ACH regulations preferred
  • Ability to develop and maintain knowledge of online banking, account analysis, electronic payments and collections
  • Must possess effective communication skills
  • Capacity to remain calm and courteous when handling difficult calls and requests
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Must be able to work in a deadline driven fast paced environment

Education, Experience & Licenses:
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent education certificate (GED). Associates degree or higher preferred
  • 5+ years retail or commercial operational banking experience with emphasis on opening new accounts, required
  • 1+ year(s) experience in operational support (e.g. ACH, wires experience), preferred
  • 1+ year(s) treasury management experience, preferred

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm with a 1-hour lunch break.

Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Starting salary is dependent upon relevant experience and may vary based on the geographic location of the position. Most Full-Time employees are also offered 6 paid holidays and Part Time employees are offered pro-rated paid holidays.
