Position summary: The File Scanning / Document Imaging Clerk is responsible for scanning, indexing, and organizing large volumes of paper records into electronic formats. This role involves operating copiers and scanners, maintaining document accuracy, ensuring proper file organization, and supporting records management activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Scan, digitize, and upload paper documents into electronic filing systems.
  • Operate copiers, scanners, and other document imaging equipment.
  • Prepare documents for scanning by removing staples, paper clips, and repairing damaged pages.
  • Verify scanned images for quality, completeness, and accuracy.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience operating scanners, copiers, or multifunction office equipment.
  • Basic computer skills, including data entry and file management.
  • Ability to lift, move, and organize file boxes and records.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Qualification:
  • Previous experience in document imaging, records management, or file scanning projects.
