Job description

Position : Document Control Specialist – Entry Level

Location : San Diego, CA

Duration : 12 Months

Total Hours/week : 40.00

1st Shift

Client: Medical Device Company

Level Of Experience: Entry Level

Employment Type: Contract on W2 (Need US Citizens Or GC Holders Only)

Hours are flexible. Monday – Friday 8-5 is standard.

3 Must haves on the resume:

1. Experience with document control

2. Experience with GMP/GDP

3. Detail oriented and organized

Job Description:

  • Associate will oversee document management of Batch Records, Laboratory Records, and Investigations, and other GMP records.
  • This will involve checking-in documents that have been completed by operations and reviewed by quality. Scanning of documents into a secure electronic storage location, and storing physical copies in a safe storage location.
  • Associate will archive and store documents that have been completed and reviewed by Quality per site procedures.
  • Associate may draft or update procedures related to document control.
  • Associate will maintain organization of document storage.
  • Maintain appropriate spreadsheets or databases to track document storage.
  • Manage check out/check in of archived documents.
  • Perform review of documents that have been archived for investigations.
  • Comply with all site policies and procedures.

Education:

  • High school diploma/GED Required
