With multiple manufacturing facilities and a strong commitment to quality, compliance, and innovation, the company offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact across complex production environments.

Overview

TRC is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to support manufacturing operations in Helm, CA and Boardman, OR. This role will oversee quality systems, regulatory compliance, laboratory operations, audits, traceability programs, and quality personnel across multiple facilities while partnering closely with plant leadership.

Summary

The Quality Assurance Supervisor will lead quality and compliance initiatives across two manufacturing locations, ensuring products meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards. This position is responsible for supporting audits, managing testing programs, maintaining organic certification and traceability requirements, supervising QC personnel, and driving continuous improvement efforts.

Responsibilities
Oversee quality systems and QC activities across multiple manufacturing facilities.
Lead audits, inspections, regulatory compliance, and quality documentation programs.
Manage laboratory testing, product release processes, and non-conformance investigations.
Ensure compliance with USDA Organic, FDA, EPA, GMP, and other applicable regulations.
Support traceability, recall readiness, supplier documentation, and certification requirements.
Train, mentor, and develop QC staff while promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement.


Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Agriculture, Quality Management, or a related field.
5+ years of Quality Assurance or Quality Control experience in food, agriculture, fertilizer, chemical, or manufacturing environments.
HACCP certification required.
FSMA PCQI certification preferred.
Experience with audits, regulatory inspections, GMPs, traceability systems, and quality documentation.
Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Ability to travel between California and Oregon facilities as needed.
