Job Description
A skilled Quality Technician is needed to join our team. This technician must be hands-on and critical to ensuring product quality, accuracy, and conformance to customer and engineering requirements. Strong metrology experience, particularly with FARO Arm inspection, and working directly from blueprints is a necessity to this position. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 5 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; however, overtime and Saturday mornings may be required.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform dimensional inspections using FARO Arm and other measuring equipment
  • Interpret and inspect parts to engineering drawings and blueprints
  • Verify conformance to specifications, tolerances, and quality standards
  • Conduct in-process and final inspections of machined and fabricated parts
  • Accurately document inspection results and maintain quality records
  • Communicate quality issues with production, engineering, and management
  • Support corrective and preventive actions as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized inspection area
  • Perform other duties as needed

Job Requirements
Job Qualifications:
  • Must have a High School Degree or GED
  • Must have a minimum 3 years of quality experience in a metal manufacturing or fabrication shop; Hands-on FARO Arm experience is required
  • Background in machining, fabrication, or welding environments is preferred
  • GD&T experience, first-piece, in-process, and final inspection experience, as well as, a familiarity with quality documentation and inspection reports is preferred
  • Must have experience using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other precision equipment
  • Must have the ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Strong math skills, including geometry and tolerance analysis is needed
  • Must have the ability to pay a high attention to detail, work independently, and as part of a team
