Familiarity with inspection tools, quality management systems (such as ISO 9001), and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications are essential, and certifications like ASQ CQA can be beneficial. Strong attention to detail, effective communication, and objective reporting are key soft skills that make an inspector stand out. These competencies ensure product compliance, effective collaboration with suppliers, and uphold governmental standards for safety and quality.
