Job description

The Temporary Quality Engineer IV will support risk analysis, control plans, inspection, and supplier quality, and metrology methodology activities. They also support customer requirements and all project deliverables meet customer, internal and regulatory requirements including all applicable standards.

Additional Information
This position may require access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws.ย  As a condition of any job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you may need to obtain a U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.

Bachelor's degree in Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, or Related Field of Studyย 

Minimum eight (8) years of experience in a specialized functional discipline. OR (6) years of experience may be considered w/ a Masters Degree. OR (3) years of experience may be considered w/ a PhD.

Learn manufacturing processes as assigned to create improvements in quality, efficiency, and cost
Lead nonconforming product resolution to include creating containment action plans and root cause corrective action activities including COPQ (Cost of Poor Quality) metrics; lead corrective actions, including changes to procedures to ensure completeness and currency
Participate in customer reviews of quality concerns, discussions, and presentations; and internal meetings related to quality issues
Compile, audit and approve audit product compliance documentation, including EIDP (End Item Data Package), FAI (First Article Inspection), source inspection materials, etc.
Participate in collaborative, cross-functional process improvement activities
Perform internal audits for process and procedure compliance
Mentor entry level Quality Engineering team members
Define rework procedures for nonconforming material
