Job Overview
The Document Control Coordinator is responsible for receiving incoming documentation from customers and suppliers, submitting, maintaining and retaining documentation requiring current revisions to responsible parties. Review and approve supplier certificates of conformity to support request for shipping release. This position assures coordination between departments in order to ensure that all customer documents are kept in the correct locations physically and electronically.
Responsibilities
  • File all incoming documents from vendors and distribute in a timely manner
  • Keep track of all due dates of documents due back to vendors
  • Prepare and send Document Transmittals to customers for new and revised drawings, manuals, and other documents
  • Notify project managers about released drawings that need to be sent to the customer
  • Complete Drawings and Parts List portion of the OMM by gathering needed drawings and LMs. Assemble VDB and OMM and send to the customer via shared site and hard copy
  • Releasing and distributing internal documentations
  • Assigning and maintaining Engineering Part numbers
  • Support for vendor qualifications
  • Create new accounts, contacts and opportunities
  • Create reports as necessary
  • Ensure clean data - no duplication of accounts, contacts etc.
  • Update product pricing
  • General administrative support

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in document management in the industries field
  • Must have excellent computer skills and be proficient of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel. MS Access,
  • Ability to read and interpret technical procedures and can understand drawings and specification
  • Excellent attention to detail is critical.

Work Environmental and Physical Demands:
In order to perform the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, talk and hear, and use fingers and hands to feel objects, tools or controls.
Overtime may be necessary as the workload dictates. This may include weekdays, weekends, nights and/or holidays.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. may be required.
Job will generally be performed in an office environment, but may require travel to a Client's office, production facility or industrial/construction job site. Conditions will vary at each location, but the conditions listed above will generally apply.

Environmental Safety Requirements
  • New Employee Safety Training is required by all newly hired employees, including Safety Awareness
  • All safety related training is provided and tracked by EHS
  • Job specific training modules deemed necessary by employee's direct supervisor will be required of all employees on an ongoing basis

Employees are required to wear Nikkiso provided PPE as/when needed. PPE's include, safety shoes, safety glasses, face shields, FR clothing, cryogenic gloves, cryogenic apron, cut resistant gloves, safety gloves, hearing protection, hard hats & dust masks. Failure to comply with Nikkiso safety requirements will result in disciplinary actions, up to and including termination.
