Job description

Document Control Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented Document Control Coordinator to support quality and compliance initiatives within a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for managing, maintaining, and controlling critical quality documentation to ensure compliance with established quality management systems and applicable regulatory requirements.
Shift: First Shift

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and issue controlled documentation, including site logbooks, tracking spreadsheets, and production-related records.
  • Prepare, distribute, and maintain master production, batch, cleaning, and sanitation documentation, performing record reviews as required.
  • Organize, maintain, and archive quality records in accordance with document retention policies.
  • Coordinate updates to customer specifications and maintain both electronic and hard-copy master files.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure documentation is accurate, current, and readily accessible.
  • Administer document creation, revision, approval, and distribution processes in accordance with established document control procedures.
  • Evaluate documentation for compliance with quality system requirements and communicate discrepancies or required corrective actions to appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor documentation processes to support ongoing compliance and recommend process improvements when opportunities are identified.
  • Assist with additional quality, compliance, or administrative projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; additional education or experience in document control, quality assurance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, quality, or regulated environment is advantageous.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents, business correspondence, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate across all organizational levels.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and project coordination abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, sound judgment, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and Google Workspace; experience with document management systems is a plus.

Pay Details: $17.00 per hour
