This role demands a detail-oriented professional who can navigate complex data center environments whilemaintainingthe highest standards of safety and compliance.You'llwork collaboratively with Regional Engineering Managers, site teams, and clients to prioritize and escalate issues, diagnose change control compliance gaps, andidentifyprocedural risks before they become problems. What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Manage client change control systems and impacted work order systems, understanding downstream impacts to Business Intelligence systems andmaintainingseamless operational continuity

  • Review, approve, and track Methods of Procedures (MOPs), lockout/tagout documentation, and Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs) to ensure compliance with safety standards and procedural accuracy

  • Serve as the day-to-day contact with the owner's representative, communicating technical items clearly to peers, upper management, and clients whilemaintainingprofessional relationships

  • Diagnose change control compliance issues and MOP procedural risks, appropriately escalating problems to Regional Engineering Managers fortimelyresolution

  • Maintain oversight of the current library of Standard Operating and Methods of Procedures for all Critical Systems Work, recommending improvements based on operational insights

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to educate and partner on methodologies that produce risk-mitigating procedures, fostering a team-first mindset across the organization

  • Prepare andmaintainaccuratedocumentation and reporting of change control data to management, ensuring transparency and traceability

  • Perform administrative review of best-known methods, continuously improving documentation quality and procedural effectiveness

Required qualifications:

  • Thorough understanding of critical systems with data center engineering background, including ability to walk stakeholders through switching and de-energizing procedures end to end

  • Experience in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) field with strong operational knowledge of critical systems functions

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, withdemonstratedability to produce clear technical documentation and work scripts

  • Proficiencyin computer applications including Google Docs, MS Office Suite, Excel, CMMS, BAS, and related software platforms

  • Strong organizational abilities with proven experience managing multiple priorities and documentation libraries simultaneously

  • High degree of flexibility, adaptability, and conflict management capability to navigate complex stakeholder environments

  • Solid interpersonal skills withdemonstratedability to collaborate effectively across teams and with diverse stakeholders

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience as a lead engineer, assistant chief, or similar leadership role in data center environments

  • Technical writing experience withdemonstratedportfolio of procedures, SOPs, or MOPs

  • Experience with digital work scripting libraries and template conversion systems

  • Knowledge of back-up power design, data center design principles, industry nomenclature, and technical acronyms

  • Willingness to take on growth and stretch assignments that expand capabilities and career opportunities

Estimated compensation for this position:

72,000.00 - 82,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
