Accessories Control Coordinator We are hiring immediately an Accessories Control Coordinator to maintain, update, order accessories, and related supplies hat will ensure proper freight transportation while providing administrative and clerical support to Operations and Maintenance in our Madison, IL location. If your background includes related experience and excellent customer service skills, please apply!
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Maintain, update, and order accessories and related supplies that will ensure proper freight transportation while providing administrative and clerical support to Operations and Maintenance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure each assets have the required equipment by inventorying to determine usability and replacing non-functional equipment. Maintain order of unassigned equipment on the yard by conducting periodic yard checks and rearranging vehicles as needed. Ensure all accessory items are in adequate condition by inspecting, repairing, or submitting to outside vendors for repairs. Ensure accessories are properly stored and have the correct quantities by inspecting drivers' vehicles daily. Maintain stock levels by placing and expedite orders to insure parts are in stock when needed. Verify receipt of parts and supplies. Distribute parts and supplies to appropriate personnel. Monitor and relieve obsolete parts and supplies from inventory. Review inventory turns and adjust stock levels. Perform monthly inventory reconciliation and maintain variance at 1% or less. Have meetings with shop every day to discuss trucks and trailers needed for week. Unload all freight delivery trucks and notify departments of their shipment. Stack and un-stack trailers as needed. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending and participating in appropriate training. Ensure company confidentiality.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Highschool education or equivalent plus 6 - 12 months related experience and/or training and 0 - 12 months previous management experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Shop environment where continuously exposed to several elements such as, noise, intermittent standing, walking; and occasional pushing, carrying, or lifting. Also may have exposure at times to the outside weather elements.
