Your Job
Koch Ag & Energy Solutions (KAES) is seeking a Document Control Coordinator to join the technical records team in Wichita, KS! This role will support the technical records and project documentation activities that help keep our fertilizer and methanol facilities operating safely, reliably, and efficiently.
The Document Control Coordinator role offers the opportunity to work closely with operations, engineering, reliability, project management, and construction teams while developing expertise in document management, project coordination, records administration, and operations. This person will help ensure critical plant and project information remains accurate, accessible, current, and properly controlled throughout its lifecycle, reducing documentation risk and supporting regulatory readiness, capital projects, maintenance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
This position will require about 10-15% travel to some of the KAES operating facilities.
What You Will Do
  • Develop and maintain controlled plant and project documentation, including technical records, drawings, procedures, equipment files, and project deliverables.
  • Support document review, revision, approval, distribution, archival, and filing activities in accordance with document control standards.
  • Track document revisions, approvals, transmittals, and status updates to support operational, project, and compliance requirements.
  • Receive, organize, and maintain documentation from internal teams, vendors, contractors, and external partners.
  • Coordinate with engineers, project managers, operations, reliability teams, and contractors to facilitate document exchange and issue resolution.
  • Support document quality reviews, audits, turnover activities, and project closeout efforts to ensure records are complete and accurate.
  • Monitor overdue items, documentation discrepancies, and closeout risks, communicating issues to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance document control processes, tools, templates, and workflows.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications and related business tools.
  • Experience or demonstrated ability organizing, maintaining, tracking, or coordinating documents, records, data, projects, or other business information.
  • Ability to learn and follow established document control procedures, standards, and workflows.

What Will Put You Ahead
  • Experience in document control, records management, project coordination, administrative support, engineering support, construction, manufacturing, or another detail-oriented business environment.
  • Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud, Autodesk Vault, or similar electronic document management systems (EDMS).
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience collaborating with internal teams and external partners to support business objectives.
