Job description

The QA/QC Coordinator works with the QA Lead to ensure Jamison Products maintains the highest level of quality. Jamison Products is a business focused on engineered filtration, straining, and pipeline equipment serving oil & gas, LNG, municipal water, and industrial markets, and part of the Allied Reliability company. As QA/QC coordinator, you will have diverse responsibilities including inspection of produced items, reviewing test results, maintaining records, and assisting with warehousing of materials in the business.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES


1. QA/QC

a. Work with senior QA/QC staff to support inspection requirements of business

b. Witness vendor testing and provide oversight

c. Work independently to verify quality standards are maintained

d. Produce documentation for clients, including quality certifications and data books to accompany product

e. Assist in investigating quality issues, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions

f. Collaborate with sales, purchasing, and operations teams to resolve quality concerns

g. Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with company health and safety guidelines.

h. Maintain a clean and organized work area consistent with quality and safety standards.

i. Perform other quality assurance and quality control duties as assigned.

j. Ensure specifications, codes, and customer requirements are met consistently.

2. Warehouse

a. Assist with receiving, inspecting, and unloading incoming shipments.

b. Accurately verify quantities and product information against packing slips and purchase orders.

c. Put away inventory in designated warehouse locations following established procedures.

d. Maintain inventory accuracy by performing cycle counts and reporting discrepancies.


3. Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.

a. Completes required reports and documents.

b. Ensures that all work areas are clean, secure, and well maintained.

c. Completes special projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS


EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent preferred.


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Understanding of industrial products preferred.


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 2+ yr of Quality Control or Quality Management experience preferred


SKILLS/ABILITIES: Experience managing multiple priorities

Capability to work with minimal supervision
