Job description

At MatrixSpace, we are building technology that bridges the physical and digital worlds — combining embedded systems, radar sensing, cloud computing, and AI to unlock powerful real-world intelligence.

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Documentation Specialist to support the development, improvement, and control of quality processes and documentation across the organization. This role will play a key part in strengthening our Quality Management System (QMS), driving documentation standardization, and preparing the organization for future ISO 9001 compliance.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, process-driven individual who enjoys building structure and improving systems, someone who can balance precision with practicality in documentation, and a collaborator who can work across teams to drive adoption of quality standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with foundational to mid-level experience in quality assurance and documentation who is looking to grow their expertise in QMS and regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, organize, and maintain quality documentation including SOPs, work instructions, policies, and records

  • Drive implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS)

  • Ensure document control processes are followed, including versioning, approvals, and distribution

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and refine process documentation

  • Assist in preparing for ISO 9001 certification, including gap assessments and audit readiness

  • Act as internal point of contact for quality policy, documentation standards, and procedures across the organization

  • Participate in internal audits and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes

  • Track and manage documentation updates to ensure compliance and accuracy

Required Skills and Experience:

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship and may be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance in the future.

  • 4-6 years of experience in quality assurance, documentation control, or related field

  • Experience building and/or maintaining Quality Management Systems (QMS)

  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and documentation requirements, including experience participating in ISO audits

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to create clear, structured documentation

  • Proficiency with document management systems and Microsoft Office tools

Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Experience in regulated environments (manufacturing, aerospace, electronics, etc.)
  • Exposure to MIL standards (e.g., MIL-STD)
  • Knowledge of export compliance requirements (e.g., ITAR/EAR)
  • Experience supporting audits or certification processes
Why Join Us
  • Join a team that thrives on innovation and collaboration.
  • Work on cutting-edge technology bridging embedded systems, cloud computing, and AI applications
  • Collaborate with world-class engineers solving complex distributed systems challenges
  • High ownership, fast iteration, and opportunities to lead architecture and innovation initiatives
  • Competitive compensation, equity options, and a culture that values innovation and technical excellence.
