Job description

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Executes the daily functions of QA as directed by the QA Manager/QA Director.
  • Prepares, tracks and reviews all QA documentation required to maintain the Quality Management System.
  • Oversee all equipment management including scheduling third party vendors for service, organization of document of equipment, and performs equipment verifications as needed.
  • Completes all customer supplied QA questionnaires and quality documentation requests.
  • Assists in reviewing test reports and completing OOS investigations.
  • Works directly with lab personnel to ensure proper documentation & labeling are enforced routinely in the laboratories.
  • Routinely audit laboratories to ensure compliance to GLP's, ISO, & GMP requirements.
  • Coordinate & maintain Document & Equipment Change Control procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Knowledge:

  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in science related field is preferred.

Essential Experience:

  • At minimum, 1-3 years of Quality Assurance work in the cosmetic, nutritional or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Prefer GMP experience.

Essential Mental, Physical and Auditory/Visual Requirements:

  • Able to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to adapt to changes to improve company process.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to articulate information effectively in both one-on-one conversations and team meetings.
