Job description

The Quality System Coordinator provides support to Quality System Managers and Quality Control Leads by utilizing organizational and analytical skills. They are well organized, detailed oriented, have strong problem skills and work comfortably under pressure and with tight deadlines.

  • Exercise a high level of professionalism and confidentiality when working with staff, projects, and proprietary information.
  • Schedule, prepare and assist with internal audits and management reviews.
  • Organize and maintain the company calibration system.
  • Receive, process and schedule project-specific submittal requests.
  • Conduct data integrity audits weekly and report findings.
  • Ensure that quality processes comply with Clark Pacific and third-party standards (i.e., PCI, ACI, IAS, etc.)
  • Recommend training needs and methods of team members based on audit results.
  • Audit current work processes including but not limited to pre-pour inspections, post-pour inspections, and lab functions.
  • Provide project KPI’s and work with Quality Management to quickly resolve life safety, high quantity and/or high-cost issues.
  • Monitoring and reporting on all quality activities, processes, and procedures.
  • Developing internal auditing tools and conducting internal audits and reports.
  • Determining data-driven solutions and implementing quality improvement plans.
  • Performing regular inspections and reviews to ensure employees adhere to quality and safety policies.
  • Assisting with the development of company policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Providing Quality System Managers and Quality Control Leads with quality planning and support.
  • Preparing and maintaining quality management documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s in construction management, engineering, business management or similar industry preferred.
  • Quality Control experience/certification (i.e., ISO 9000, ASQ Certifications) preferred.
  • Project Coordinator experience acceptable
