Job description

Summary: Provides Quality Control direction to field personnel, including reviewing work quality, safety, and monitoring performance. Responsibilities include assuring all contractors and subcontractors comply with engineering standards and specifications. In addition, this individual makes certain that all engineering, surveys, inspections, etc. are complete and comply with the project.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Actively supports the Companys commitment to safety and its Core Values.*
  2. Creates quality assurance procedures.*
  3. Participate and guide project quality control from kick-off until hand-off.*
  4. Implements the QA/QC management system at site.*
  5. Coordinates the quality inspections with the site sub-contractors and vendors.*
  6. Coordinates with the customers representative on all quality matters.*
  7. Coordinates all receipt inspections.*
  8. Distributes relevant QA/QC documentation to site subcontractors.*
  9. Verifies that the quality related site activities are in accordance with the applicable codes and standards.*
  10. Participates in the internal and external site audits.*
  11. Coordinates all the quality site inspections through the site QC inspectors.*
  12. Ensures all quality control documentation is compiled and competed for as-built hand over through the QC turnover engineer.*
  13. Controls all nonconformance reports and undertake remedial action.
  14. Competes site quality control instructions and action remedial responses.*
  15. Reviews the customers specification and undertake relevant training to the site QC inspector.
  16. Monitors the implementation of the approved site QC Plan.
  17. Completes and coordinates the approval of the sites QC technical submittals to the customer.*
  18. Coordinates with the site construction manager on all quality issues.*
  19. Coordinate and chair the QA/QC site weekly meetings with the projects subcontractors QC personnel.*
  20. Elaborates inspection and test programs.*
  21. Assures all technical documents relative to site quality control are of current status.*
