-----------------------------------

About the Role

We are hiring a high-caliber Arizona-barred Staff Attorney to join ClaimsHero’s legal operations team. This is not a traditional law firm associate role, and it is not a light-touch document review position.

This role sits at the intersection of legal judgment, operational execution, and scale. You will work closely with our Head of Operations and internal legal team to ensure claims are reviewed accurately, processes hold up under volume, and edge cases are handled with sound legal reasoning.

We are a technology-forward law firm operating at scale. Precision, ownership, and follow-through matter here. We are intentionally raising the bar for this role and are only looking for candidates who can operate independently, make good legal calls, and take responsibility for outcomes.

This role is best suited for an attorney who values clarity, consistency, and building durable systems, and who is comfortable working in a fast-moving, highly accountable environment.

You Will

  • Oversee the identification, collection, and processing of client data in collaboration with internal operations team
  • Review and validate documents and manage document review workflows, including quality control processes
  • Communicate directly with clients via email and phone in a professional, empathetic, and clear manner
  • Identify and escalate issues in the flow that require legal or product team input
  • Maintain structured records of processed claims and assist in generating internal reports
  • Assist with standard operating procedures (SOPs), process documentation, and other internal tools
  • Learn and adapt to internal software (no technical experience required, just willingness to pick things up quickly)
  • Occasionally support other functions (e.g., data cleanup, inbox management, internal audits)

You Have

  • Arizona state bar in good standing
  • Experience with legal documents review
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to producing accurate and high-quality work
  • Comfortable using digital tools for document review
  • Experience working in a predominantly remote environment as a document reviewer
  • Located in Arizona
  • The minimum and maximum base salary for this role is:
  • For Document Review Attorney: $70,000 to $100,000
  • We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including medical/dental
  • Compensation will be determined by years of relevant experience as defined in the job requirements
