Keep the Work Moving. Support Advocacy That Matters.

Hahn Legal Group | Education Advocacy & Civil Litigation

At Hahn Legal Group, we donโ€™t just manage cases; we stand beside students and families when their futures are on the line. Our work brings clarity to complex systems, holds institutions accountable, and creates meaningful change through strategic, high-level advocacy.

Behind every successful case is a team that operates with precision, ownership, and trust.

We are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment and takes pride in keeping everything organized, aligned, and moving forward. Whether working in-office, in a hybrid arrangement, or remotely, this role is essential to the success of our team and the clients we serve.

This is not a passive administrative role. It is a position of responsibility, coordination, and real impact.

Compensation:

$45,000 - $65,000 yearly

Responsibilities:

What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Manage deadlines to ensure all case-related tasks and court filings are completed promptly.
  • Maintain and coordinate attorney calendars, including scheduling hearings, meetings, and case reviews.
  • You will be responsible for organizing and maintaining accurate filing systems for both electronic and hard-copy documents.
  • Schedule depositions, client meetings, and attorney prep sessions with efficiency and attention to detail.
  • You will complete and manage discovery forms to support the litigation process.
  • Finalize pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents to ensure accuracy and readiness for filing or delivery.
  • Research and assist in the implementation of software programs that enhance firm operations.
  • Track and update case status information using Excel and other tools to ensure clear case oversight.
  • You will coordinate and manage staff meetings focused on case reviews and team alignment.

Qualifications:

What Weโ€™re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience as a Legal Secretary in a civil litigation firm (Federal and California court experience preferred).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal practice management systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize deadlines, and work independently in a dynamic legal environment.
  • A proactive mindset and commitment to our mission and values.
  • Passion for justice, teamwork, and serving clients with empathy and excellence.

Why Youโ€™ll Love Working With Us (Compensation & Benefits)

  • Competitive compensation based on experience.
  • Opportunities for growth and mentorship.
  • Health insurance and retirement plan contributions.
  • A workplace that values your well-being as much as your performance.
  • A chance to be part of a firm thatโ€™s changing lives through advocacy.
