Description
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Document Control Coordinator to join our Dallas, TX office supporting our Mission Critical sector. This role works closely with Principals, Project Managers, Architects, consultants, and project teams to support and maintain construction documentation throughout all project phases. The Document Control Coordinator will play a key role in organizing project documentation, coordinating drawing issuances and revisions, assisting with permit submissions, and supporting fast-paced Mission Critical projects. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to prioritize in a deadline-driven environment, and a proactive approach to supporting complex, high-impact projects.We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Project Coordinator to join our Dallas, TX office, supporting our Mission Critical sector. This role works closely with Principals and Project Managers to keep projects organized, on track, and running efficiently.
The Project Coordinator will play a key role in managing project documentation, coordinating communication across teams, and supporting day-to-day operations throughout all project phases. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment, and a proactive approach to supporting complex, high-impact projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain and organize project documentation throughout all phases of design and construction administration.
  • Provide document control support for drawing issuances at all phases (30%, 60%, 90%, 100%) ensuring proper organization, tracking of drawing revisions, and distribution.
  • Coordinate issued-for-permit and issued-for-construction drawing packages.
  • Maintain drawing logs, transmittals, and project filing systems to ensure accurate record keeping and organization.
  • Upload, organize, and maintain project documentation on platforms such as Newforma, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, AWS, and client portals.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, clients, and internal project teams to ensure accurate and timely distribution of project documentation.
  • Coordinate consultant drawing packages, revisions, submissions, and project correspondence throughout all project phases.
  • Prepare, assemble, and organize permit documents, drawing packages, affidavits, and closeout documentation.
  • Coordinate stamping and sealing of drawings for permit submissions
  • Track permit submissions, comments, approvals, and resubmissions to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Respond to emails and calls professionally while maintaining strong communication with project stakeholders.
  • Maintain organized project archives and records throughout the full project lifecycle.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE
  • Preferred minimum 8+ years of experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred).
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with project management software such as Unanet (preferred).
  • Experience with Newforma, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, AWS, or similar document management platforms preferred.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across multiple offices and project teams.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
