Job Description:
As a Sales Director, Mid-Market at Accurate, you will play a critical role in accelerating new business growth and expanding our footprint in the employment screening space. We are seeking a first-line sales leader who can take our sales performance to the next level and drive consistent, scalable results.
In this role, you will lead and inspire a team of 7-10 Mid-Market Account Executives, while owning regional strategy and execution. You will lead your team to uncover net-new opportunities and position Accurate's solutions to customer challenges, ensuring strong pipeline development and customer success.

Qualifications
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 7-10 Mid-Market Account Executives to achieve and exceed performance goals.
  • Own and manage sales forecasting, including weekly, monthly, and recurring revenue targets.
  • Support account executives throughout the sales cycle, including discovery, presentations, deal strategy, contract negotiation, and closing.
  • Consistently drive team performance to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Build and execute business plans aligned to growth objectives, including sales strategy, revenue targets, and market expansion.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, high performance, and customer-centric problem solving.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with referral partners.
  • Willingness to travel based on team and client needs.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of Mid-Market sales management experience ideally within the background screening industry, with a history of quota-carrying success.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing sales teams to consistently meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Experience selling into mid-market organizations and successfully closing complex deals.
  • Strong command of sales methodologies, with a demonstrated ability to drive adoption and continuous improvement of sales processes.
  • Hands-on management of pipeline, forecasting, and sales activity within Salesforce (or similar CRM).
  • Ability to lead teams to achieve $7M+ in annual new revenue.
  • Demonstrated success coaching account executives through complex sales cycles.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to attract, develop, and retain top sales talent.
  • Highly collaborative, accountable, and results-driven, with a positive team-oriented mindset.
  • Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required.
  • Proficiency with core business tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, LinkedIn, Gong, and Salesforce CRM.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $135,000 to $170,000. + Commission (equal to 60/40 pay mix).
Pay will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and relevant education and training. This position is eligible for a target sales incentive plan.
