Job description

Methodist Fremont Health is looking for a BC/BE Psychiatrist to help with inpatient coverage. This role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team in an acute inpatient setting. 

Responsibilities
  • Perform psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and medication management
  • Conduct daily patient rounds and treatment planning
  • Manage admissions, discharges, and psychiatric consultations
  • Collaborate with nursing staff, therapists, social workers, and medical providers
  • Complete timely and accurate EMR documentation
  • Participate in call coverage as needed
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and quality standards
