Position: Part-Time (PT) | Schedule: TBD/On-Demand
Pay Rate: $21.95 per hour

We are currently seeking dependable, professional individuals to join our team as Charter Screeners at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA).
 

Position Summary

As a Charter Screener, you will play a vital role in maintaining the safety and security of charter flight operations. You will screen passengers and baggage, identify prohibited items, and help ensure compliance with Transportation Security Administration (TSA) security procedures while delivering outstanding customer service.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Screen passengers and baggage in accordance with TSA security procedures.

  • Conduct passenger, baggage, and aircraft security searches.

  • Identify prohibited items, weapons, narcotics, and other security threats.

  • Operate screening equipment and utilize established security procedures.

  • Verify passenger manifests and compare against required watch lists.

  • Control access into designated screening checkpoints.

  • Assist with the safe and efficient movement of passengers through screening areas.

  • Educate passengers on TSA regulations and screening procedures.

  • Maintain communication with supervisors regarding security concerns or vulnerabilities.

  • Maintain professionalism while working in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

  • Reliable transportation is required.

  • Must have a reliable telephone number, cell phone, and email address.

  • Must be able to successfully complete all required Huntleigh USA and airline-specific training.

  • Must maintain a professional appearance and meet company uniform standards.

  • No facial piercings or visible tattoos below the wrists or above the neck.

  • Overtime may be required with little or no notice.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

  • Frequently bend, squat, stoop, push, pull, and reach throughout the shift.

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy airport environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pre-Employment Requirements
  • Must successfully pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screening panel and alcohol test.

  • Must be able to participate in random DOT drug and alcohol testing as required.

  • Must successfully complete all required background screening and security clearance requirements.
