Job description

Pride Health is hiring a Clinical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility in New York, NY (10011). This is a 3+ month contract assignment (convertible to permanent based on your work performance). and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Specific Duties:
  • For this position the employee would be tasked with patient directives that come from the patients' Physical Therapist, such as assisting them while they complete Therapeutic Exercises, as well as general office maintenance (ex: making sure to return exercise equipment to its correct place, maintain clear walkways, clean patient tables between each visit, etc.). This does not include janitorial work or putting out garbage.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of preferred experience
  • High school graduate or GED equivalent
  • Solid computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office

Requirements:
  • Ideally, the candidate will already have a BA/BS degree to limit conflicting schedules, but I would take a really motivated and promising candidate without one, depending on the case (someone with the goal of attending PT school but still in undergrad for example).
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology

  • Location: New York, NY (10011)
  • Job Type: 12+ months contract to hire
  • Schedule: Monday- Friday
  • Office Hours: 12 pm- 8 pm / 7 am-3 pm / 9 am-5 pm
  • Pay Range: $15-17/hr. on W2

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
