Location: University of Idaho 

  • We are hiring immediately for a full time CATERING PROGRAM ADMIN position.
  • Address: 709 Deakin Avenue, Moscow, ID 83844 Note: online applications accepted only.
  • Schedule: Full time; 2nd shift, includes weekends as needed. More details upon interview. 
  • Requirement:Prior food service/catering and admin experience is highly preferred. 
  • Pay Range:  $16.00 per hour to $24.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Job Summary: The primary function of the Program Admin is to provide administrative support for on-site programs and initiatives. This role will assist in training & educating others on the program’s initiatives, as well as provide any necessary support for the continued development of the business programs and initiatives.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provides technical or administrative support for programs or issues.
  • Provides training to all foodservice associates. Such as recycling, composting, and proper waste disposal.
  • Assists with the development of reports to communicate the effectiveness of current initiatives to programs and ensures recognition for all successful endeavors.
  • Monitors and applies for current and future certifications
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to support program initiatives
  • Reviews and revises sustainability proposals or policies.
  • Supports project goals, objectives, initiatives, and strategies
  • Research trends related to business or site program/initiative to implement.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates degree required
  • 1-3 years previous relevant work experience.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Working knowledge of sustainability management, reporting and transparency, inclusion and diversity, and/or supply chain.
