General Function:
Teach pre-school and progressive learn to swim classes and supervise class members at all times.
Job Segments:
Enforce pool rules.
Know whereabouts of all students at all times.
Teach aquatic skills.
Maintain teaching equipment.
Put away teaching equipment at end of classes.
Job Requirements:
Follow all CDC and DOH guidelines as they apply to the program.
Maintain safety of all participants at all times.
Maintain attendance and skill level sheets.
Dress properly (swim suit, instructor shirt).
Know emergency procedures.
Report to work 5-10 minutes before start of class.
Entry Requirements:
American Red Cross lifeguard training certificate
First Aid and CPR Professional Rescuer Certification
Teaching experience preferred
Water Safety Instructor preferred
