About the Position
Star Sleep & Wellness is seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Paramedic to support the growth and daily operations of our wellness services program. Working closely with our physician team, this role will provide patient-centered care through care coordination, patient education, medication management support, and wellness program administration. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping patients achieve their health goals while delivering an exceptional care experience. This position combines clinical support, patient relationship management, and operational responsibilities in a collaborative and growing healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care
  • Conduct visits under physician-approved protocols.
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document findings.
  • Obtain vital signs, medication histories, and treatment updates.
  • Perform blood draws and specimen collection as needed.
  • Administer injections and other treatments within scope of practice.
  • Provide patient education on medications, treatment plans, nutrition, lifestyle changes, and disease management.
  • Monitor patients for medication effectiveness and potential side effects.
  • Escalate concerns to the medical provider when appropriate.
  • Assist with infusion services as new programs are introduced.
Program Management
  • Manage the daily operations of the Concierge Wellness Program.
  • Develop efficient clinical workflows alongside leadership.
  • Ensure every patient receives monthly follow-up.
  • Monitor patient compliance and engagement.
  • Oversee medical referral coordinators managing refill requests, prior authorizations, and lab follow-up.
  • Coordinate care with physicians, pharmacies, specialists, and primary care providers.
  • Maintain program quality metrics and patient satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and patient outcomes.
Patient Relationship Management
  • Serve as the primary clinical contact for concierge patients.
  • Build long-term relationships through proactive communication.
  • Respond to patient questions via phone, patient portal, and virtual communication.
  • Help patients stay accountable to treatment goals.
  • Coordinate appointments, laboratory testing, and follow-up care.
Leadership
  • Help build and grow the Concierge Wellness Program.
  • Train and mentor future staff as the program expands.
  • Assist in developing clinical protocols, policies, and standing orders.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on future service offerings.
As we continue to develop and refine our wellness services, we are actively exploring several future opportunities that may become part of the program as it grows. Potential areas of expansion include:
  • Support GLP-1 medication management.
  • Assist with iron infusion services.
  • Oversee IV hydration and wellness therapies.

Additional qualifications:
  • Active Licensed Vocational Nurse, EMT-Paramedic, or Licensed Paramedic license, in good standing.
  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience; private practice experience preferred.
  • Experience working independently while collaborating with physicians.
  • Comfortable performing venipuncture and blood draws.
  • Proficient in IV starts without ultrasound guidance and strong venipuncture skills.
  • Strong patient education and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Experience coordinating care across multiple providers.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records.
