Boeing Global Services (BGS) Government Training (GT) is looking for a talented Project Management Specialist to join our International Vertical Lift Training team in Hazelwood, MO.
This role includes program execution across various product support elements and new business proposals to support both Foreign Military Sale (FMS) and Direct Commercial Sale (DCS) for our international partners.
Our team is looking for an individual skilled with program management discipline, ability to navigate a fast-paced program, strong collaboration skills, and a great attitude to enable successful program execution. The International Vertical Lift Training team is committed to excellence and fostering an inclusive environment where all team members are valued, respected, and able to operate at their full potential.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Leads projects and provides oversight (including performance management metrics & reporting) for a portfolio of complex projects to support International Vertical Lift Training organizational goals and objectives
  • Leads proposal, technical and cost volume development and project execution by identifying activities, resources, and tasks required to complete the work statement
  • Provides technical, business and integration leadership for the development and execution of project or team plans
  • Lead assessments and collaborative resolution of complex cross-functional issues amongst multiple diverse stakeholders
  • Manage the Risk, Issues, and Opportunities, and associate mitigation and implementation plans
  • Establishes and communicates objectives and goals to ensure common direction and delivery of high-quality products and services on-time
  • Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plans regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project
  • Interface, communicate and develop relationships with our US Army customer
  • Integrates with various business units, cross functional teams, suppliers, and customers

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent military experience
  • 3+ years' experience in a role requiring project / program management skills
  • Experience leading projects in a cross-functional environment
  • Experience interfacing with internal and external customers
  • Experience developing presentations for leadership

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Experience working with and/or managing supply chain processes and functions
  • Experience using Earned Value Management or similar cost and schedule accounting means
  • Experience managing contractual deliverables
  • Willing and able to travel up to 15% of the time both domestically and internationally
