Job description

LaSalle Network is hiring on behalf of a global professional services corporation seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst to join their Chicago team. This opportunity has become available due to an internal promotion and offers the chance to join a collaborative, high-performing organization within the insurance industry.
In this role, you will partner closely with HR leadership, business leaders, and finance teams to support the design, administration, and analysis of compensation programs across a global workforce. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capabilities, market-pricing expertise, and a strategic mindset to help ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices that align with business objectives.
This is a highly visible role with exposure to senior leadership and opportunities to contribute to impactful compensation initiatives and organizational transformation projects.
Senior Compensation Analyst Responsibilities:
  • Support the administration and execution of global compensation programs, including base salary, annual incentive plans, salary structures, and market benchmarking initiatives
  • Conduct compensation analyses and market pricing activities to ensure external competitiveness and internal equity across multiple business functions and geographic regions
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to provide compensation guidance related to offers, promotions, transfers, retention strategies, and organizational changes
  • Participate in annual compensation planning processes, including merit, bonus, and long-term incentive cycles
  • Analyze compensation data, trends, and workforce metrics to develop insights and recommendations for leadership
  • Maintain and update salary structures, job classifications, and compensation frameworks to support evolving business needs
  • Assist with compensation-related projects including pay equity analysis, regulatory compliance, and compensation program enhancements
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation regulations, including pay transparency and wage-related requirements
  • Prepare presentations, reporting, and compensation materials for leadership and internal stakeholders
  • Support ongoing process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, scalability, and employee experience within compensation programs
  • Support a large-scale job architecture initiative focused on role alignment, leveling, and compensation framework optimization

Senior Compensation Analyst Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree required
  • 5+ years of progressive compensation experience within a corporate environment
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze, interpret, and present complex compensation data
  • Strong analytical mindset combined with sound business acumen
  • Executive presence with the ability to confidently communicate and partner with senior leadership
  • Ability to work independently and effectively within a less structured, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Prior in-house compensation experience
  • Experience managing or supporting a full year-end compensation cycle
  • Industry background within financial services, insurance, or other highly regulated environments is strongly preferred
  • Broader HR experience outside of compensation is considered a plus
  • Experience with Workday or similar HRIS platforms preferred
  • CCP certification or progress toward certification is a plus

Key Details:
  • Salary: $110,000-130,000 annually with eligibility to earn a 10-15% annual bonus
